New Blog y'all!

As an added bonus to our trip home.. my "baby cousin" JR and his beautiful girlfriend Chi decided to tie the knot. OK the wedding wasn't big nor fat ... and the most German thing is our last name..  (but it sounded like a good title for this post. :-) The wedding however was Vietnamese ...  - well one ceremony was, The happy couple started the morning with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony. Family had gathered from the world... We had a cousin who flew in from Australia.. Weddings are always such a fantastic, blissful time to reunite.. all the cousins.. (& my beautiful sister in law) Nana & her boys. New friends & family Vietnamese Wedding traditions... On the day of the wedding, the procession of the groom's family is led in specific order. I have an AMAZING friend Paul... we have been friends since we were exchange students in Germany many many years ago... ANYWHOOO... is has the biggest heart & is ALWAYS doing for others... he needs help  -NOW.. Please read below...  it only takes a moment to vote.. & it will make SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE in SUPPORT! Yep... this is the guy! As a Rotarian I am incredibly proud of the service Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and Inner Wheel members give to communities. I know from first hand experience, just how hard we all work to stage fundraising events and how committed we all are to making a real difference to people's lives locally and internationally. Right now with just under 2 days left of the ChaseGiving campaign we and our friends have the chance to receive $10s of $1000s which could help as many as 200,000 people around the world gain access to the clean drinking water so many of us take for granted. And all we have to do is spare a few minutes

VEGAS baby!

OK OK... so I am about 6 weeks late posting this... what can I say?  I am a BUSY girl... :-)  In the past weeks since PROMISING to post about my fantastic time in Vegas.. I have been to a 40th birthday bash- girls weekend at the lake, Vietnamese/German Wedding in Indianapolis... a birthday party for my darling daughter..a trip back to Norway... a trip to Stockholm.. a Norwegian Wedding in Croatia... not to mention all of the traveling around Norway with work... Makes a girl tired you know? - & lets not forget the 2 kids, first day of school & a husband I bump into from time to time..  :-)  So.... while in the USA.. my baby sister had a business trip to Vegas... she was going to stay at  a fantastic hotel... & invited me to come & stay with her...   :-)   With all of the places in the world I have traveled...
